APNA Conference April 30- May 2 2009
Growing from six nurses around a coffee table in 2001 to over 1400 members, APNA will hold its inaugural National Conference in 2009 in celebration of how far general practice nurses and APNA have come.

The Australian Practice Nurses Association (APNA) today noted the release of data from Divisions of General Practice around Australia, showing a significant fall in the number of GPs in a number of major urban areas including central Sydney.
 
TAS DHHS Service Directory
The Tasmanian Department of Health and Human Services has an online service and information directory.
 
Rural Health Events Clearinghouse
This resource aims to provide a central repository for health information and training events relevant to rural Tasmanian health professionals, health students, community organisations and consumers.
 
Royal College of Nursing, Australia (RCNA)

RCNA represents nursing across all areas of practice and is the fund administrator for a number of scholarship schemes funded through the Australian Government Department of Health and Ageing.

 
Nursing Board of Tasmania (NBT)
The NBT regulates the nursing profession in Tasmania.
 
National Enrolled Nurse Association (NENA)
NENA promotes the value of Enrolled Nurses and raises the awareness of the Enrolled Nurse role within the community.
 
Council of Remote Area Nurses of Australia Inc.(CRANA)

CRANA  is a professional body for nurses working in remote areas.

 
Australian Nursing Federation (ANF)

The ANF's core business is the industrial and professional representation of nurses. The ANF have established Special Interest Groups for the following sectors - Enrolled Nurses, Aged Care, Rural & Remote Nurses, and Immunisation Nurses.
